Class Trip to the Smallbore Range

We recently had the opportunity to visit the Smallbore Rifle range here in Dannevirke, so that the students could experience a new (Olympic) sport.  We instigated a passport system that saw students receive stamps for on-task behaviour in class, with a required number of stamps set for attendance on the trip.
As you will see when you visit our writing page (look for the tab at the top of our blog) all the students that did attend had a great time.  I would add that the members of the gun club were really impressed with their positive attitude.
I would just like to take the opportunity here to thank those members for donating their time, it is greatly appreciated.
Miss Forsyth came along and here are some of the photos she took....

Taking it all in during the safety briefing.
The boys contemplating nature.

This is serious.

A future gold medallist?
