Class Trip to the Smallbore Range

We recently had the opportunity to visit the Smallbore Rifle range here in Dannevirke, so that the students could experience a new (Olympic) sport.  We instigated a passport system that saw students receive stamps for on-task behaviour in class, with a required number of stamps set for attendance on the trip.
As you will see when you visit our writing page (look for the tab at the top of our blog) all the students that did attend had a great time.  I would add that the members of the gun club were really impressed with their positive attitude.
I would just like to take the opportunity here to thank those members for donating their time, it is greatly appreciated.
Miss Forsyth came along and here are some of the photos she took....

Our class rules

In Room 10 we have set up our rules to ensure we are operating a safe and fair learning environment where all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. We have group and individual reward systems that support our efforts to exhibit the excellent behaviour and attitudes that promote success.
